L’associazione Ars Musica Capraia promuove e organizza per il primo anno un workshop per strumenti ad arco e una Masterclass di pianoforte con la collaborazione di due docenti di prestigio internazionale: Mario Brunello e Benedetto Lupo. Un’occasione per vivere un momento di ascolto e approfondimento nello splendido contesto naturalistico dell’Isola di Capraia, in Toscana, in Provincia di Livorno.

Workshop with Mario Brunello
Bach's Twelve Solos for Violin and Cello
6 sonatas and partitas for violin, 6 suites for cello
Mario Brunello will hold a Workshop for all strings from July 7 to July 9, 2024 on the island of Capraia (LI).
Regulation
Two types of Workshops:
Advanced training
Availability of 4 seats. The selected candidates are entitled to 3 individual lessons of 1h30 to be held on 6-7-8 July.
Audience of all levels of preparation and age
Availability of 15 seats. Each listener has the possibility of a mini-lesson of 15/20 min with Mario Brunello on July 9th.
It is possible to book a room for self-study.
The timetable and functioning of the workshop will be defined by the teacher based on the composition of the class. Course dates may vary slightly based on the number of students enrolled.
At the end of the workshop there will be a concert by the students, chosen at the unquestionable judgment of the teacher.
The artistic director will evaluate the possibility of inviting one or more deserving students to give a concert for the next edition of the festival.
All participants will be able to attend the festival concerts for free.
Application form
To participate in the workshop it is necessary to send the completed registration form and a Youtube link for watching a video file containing one or more songs by J.S. Bach played by the student, for a total duration of about 10 minutes. The recordings must preferably be made with a fixed camera and in any case without editing; recordings made at different times and places are allowed if more than one piece is performed.

With the same requirements, precedence will be established on the basis of the date of registration.

Advanced training fee: € 400,00
Auditor fee: € 60,00
